Xiaomi Launches Flagship Xiaomi 17 and 17 Pro with Cutting-Edge Specs
Beijing, China – September 26, 2025 – xiaomi today unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 17 and xiaomi 17 Pro, boasting advanced camera technology, powerful processors, and refined designs. The launch marks Xiaomi’s continued push into the premium smartphone market, directly challenging competitors like Samsung and Apple.
The introduction of the Xiaomi 17 series arrives as consumers increasingly demand high-performance mobile devices capable of handling demanding applications and capturing professional-quality photos and videos. The Xiaomi 17 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The device will be available in configurations ranging from 12GB to 16GB of RAM and 256GB to 512GB of storage.
Stepping up the experience, the Xiaomi 17 Pro boasts a larger 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with adaptive refresh rate technology, also driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Its camera system is even more impressive, featuring a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The Pro model will offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
Pricing for the Xiaomi 17 starts at ¥3,999 (approximately $550 USD) for the base configuration, while the Xiaomi 17 Pro begins at ¥5,999 (approximately $825 USD). Both devices will be available for pre-order starting September 27, 2025, with official sales commencing on october 10, 2025, initially in China, followed by a global rollout in select markets.
