At the end of September, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 13T smartphone, which has characteristics and a price corresponding to the premium level of the Chinese manufacturer. However, DxOMark specialists were not too impressed with it.
What does it mean
DxOMark representatives tested the Xiaomi 13T camera, which received Leica optics and includes 3 sensors: a 50 MP main lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. However, as it turned out, the Xiaomi 13T is far from the best camera phone – the smartphone took only 60th place in the overall DxOMark rating.
The overall score of the gadget is 123 points: 134 points for photos and only 114 for video. The Xiaomi 13T’s camera performance is particularly impressive in terms of exposure, contrast, white balance, detail retention, autofocus, dynamic range and noise reduction. However, it struggles to capture accurate colors in complex scenes, and there’s some loss of detail in low light.
“The Xiaomi 13T showed decent performance in the DXOMARK camera test for a device in its class, but our experts noticed a number of issues that prevented it from ranking among the best in our rankings,” the report said.
