On February 22nd, Xi’an Jiaotong University-Liverpool welcomed over 260 international students from around the world to their on-site orientation. The students actually met face to face and explored the university. and benefit from being an international student in China.

She said, “I arrived last week and explored all over Suzhou. I’m excited to finally start studying in a real place. Because there are too many distractions at home and it is difficult to concentrate during online classes.”

“Also, interacting with other students is much easier and less awkward. because we all have met the real one I’m glad I came to university and finally met everyone. I can’t wait to get to know everyone properly and adjust to life in China.”

On-site instruction begins this week. And many are happy to be able to return to face-to-face learning.

Michelle Lionard, fourth year student Faculty of Science Financial Mathematics who is also from Indonesia, said, “After almost three years of absence, I felt strange coming back and having to adjust to life here again. Most of my friends who started school at the same time have gone out to find work. Before this, I had already started to think that I would never come back. So I’m really happy to finally be back.”

Kim Kanghyun Kim and Seungje Lee from South Korea who are sophomores. Faculty of Communication Arts Television Production had to return to South Korea since the first semester after the epidemic Both of them used that time to enlist in the military. and just returned to Suzhou this month

Kim Kang Hyun said, “I’m excited to be able to come back and experience this atmosphere. and has lived in Suzhou again In addition, he also met both old and new friends. I like that the university teaches in English. and we practiced Chinese together.”

Lee Seung Jae added, “I am very happy to be back at university and not having to study online anymore. I feel like I’m back in my second home.”
