FromElisa Jebelean
As the Xbox Series X should have been known for a long time: While the trend with consoles actually went in the direction of the slimmer, the better, throws Microsoft all conventions overboard and with the Xbox Series X probably produces the company’s largest console to date. A clear sign that the focus is now on performance. At the Xbox Game Studios Show in July, prices, games and other information will be announced.
All already known information is summarized here. You can also find a list of Xbox Series X games and their trailers here.
Xbox Series X release and price have not yet been finalized
The console will appear in two variants: The Xbox Series X and a somewhat slimmed-down variant, the Xbox Lockhart or Xbox Series S. Customers who choose the Xbox Series S will, among other things, have a somewhat weaker graphics card and less memory.
During the reveal event for the Playstation 5, with a number of technical data and games already held in June, Microsoft still has such an event ahead of it – in July. Then the price will most likely become known. Since Microsoft has to keep up with competitor Sony and has now become known that the standard version of the PS5 should cost 499 euros, a similar price can also be expected for the Xbox Series X.
The exact date of the Xbox Game Studios Show is not yet known. There is already information about the hardware of the new console. Here is an overview:

- GPU: 12 Teraflops (RDNA 2)
- RAM: 16GB GDDR6
