Like every month, Microsoft unveils the list of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games “offered” to players as part of their Xbox Live Gold subscription.
During the month of August, players will be able to embark on Portal Knights by downloading it between the August 1 and 31 , or discover Override: Mech City Brawl from August 16 to September 15 . The other two games, backward compatible on Xbox One, are MX Unleashed, August 1–15, and Red Faction II August 16-31.

Fighting and building game, Portal Knights is a title released in 2016, developed by Keen Games. Effective in multiplayer, the title sins with a disappointing creative part, too limited RPG components, and a too repetitive soundtrack.

On the Xbox and Xbox 360 games side, playable on Xbox One by backward compatibility, let’s start with MX Unleashed , whose release dates back to April 8, 2004. This is a title in which players drive motocross or monster trucks in career or freestyle modes. In total, nearly forty races are available.

Let’s finish the selection of the month with Red Faction II , released in 2003 for Xbox. This is an FPS where players take control of a Martian rebel fighting against the Commonwealth. There are plenty of weapons available, as well as vehicles and tech tools. Unfortunately, during the test, Dinowan concluded by indicating that the title disappoints by its lack of originality and ambitions.
