He assures : “We received our most interesting clue in the Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès case. People who live in Chicago heard a guy who spoke French, they watched him, they had just seen the episode. They sent us a photo and it really looked like him, it was striking […] So we forwarded this clue to the authorities. But again, this is just an unknown. We don’t have a name or anything specific. Xavier looks so much like a lot of people. “
This information seriously relaunched research. Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès would he be exiled in the United States? No one is yet able to say. For the moment, the mystery around this story remains intact.
