The City Council of Xàtiva recovers this Wednesday the service of loan and return of books from the Municipal Library, for which it will be necessary to take a prior appointment, either by telephone or through the electronic mail of the same.
Once requested, the documents will be prepared for their withdrawal and only one user will be allowed access to the room at a time, and there will be a prior access control to the ground floor of the building.
The service hours will be from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the afternoon, and once the documents are returned they will go through the corresponding quarantine as established by the protocol of the Ministry of Culture.
Installing a mailbox
To make this book return service effective with compliance with security measures, the Xativí consistory will install a mailbox so that users can deposit the documents.
In this way, the possibility of repaying loans is offered during the hours that the municipal library is closed, offering a reconciliation between the hours of attention to the public and that of a part of the users who may find it difficult to go in the usual schedule, as well as the possibility of depositing them without having to go up, with the consequent saving of time.
