WWE SmackDown May 1 Summary
WWE SmackDown Orlando, Performance Center
Commentators are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
– The show opens with the commentators who welcome us. Daniel Bryan enters the ring and says he likes to do what he does. He is ready to overcome new obstacles and do new things, which is why he is excited about Money in the Bank. It will take place at WWE headquarters. 6 wrestlers and 6 wrestlers will compete at the same time and it will be necessary to go up on the roof to take down the cases, which allow a title match anywhere and anytime. He doesn’t know the rules. Can he use the elevators? Will he be able to stop at the restaurant? Will he be fined if he breaks something? Will he be able to see if Vince McMahon really has real dinosaur bones in his office? He knows about opportunities. 9 years ago, it was not book at SmackDown, then it won the Money in the Bank and beat the Big Show to become WWE champion. King Corbin arrives on the scene and tells Daniel Bryan to be careful when calling the king. He reminds her of what happened with Gulak. Cobin feels good. It will save Bryan’s time: stop dreaming about a victory. That he does not think he is the only one to have won before. He will stand on the ladder. Bryan asks him what will happen if he wins. It will fail like the last time. He is just one of the 4 people out of 23 not to have successfully collected his case. It doesn’t make him a king, but a loser. Corbin says that if Bryan doesn’t shut up, he’ll end up like his coach or Elias.

Daniel Bryan vs King Corbin
At the end of the match, Daniel Bryan kicked King Corbin outside the ring but Corbin got up and hit him with a ladder.
Winner: Daniel Bryan – via disqualification
– After the match, King Corbin puts Daniel Bryan back in the ring and tries his End of Days. Bryan blocks him and applies his LeBell Lock to him on a ladder on the ground. Shinsuke Nakamura arrives from behind with a knee kick and Cesaro ejects him from the ring with a ladder. Corbin throws Bryan into a pile of ladders.
– Braun Strowman enters the ring and says that last week, we looked back on his past with Bray Wyatt. It was before. Bray Wyatt interrupts him for the Firefly Fun House. Wyatt says it’s time for a story. It’s a real story called “The Black Sheep”. Once upon a time there was a black sheep who looked a lot like Strowman. He was tall and he thought he was a little funny. He was stronger than the other farm animals. The shepherd saw the black sheep alone and decided to bring him home. This shepherd taught sheep so well that they came to protect the shepherd. They had a lot of fun. The sheep went to look for a greener grass. He did not say thank you and did not leave notes. The shepherd was sad.
Why did he leave after all he did? All the other animals also left him. The shepherd was alone. Then the government put a lien on the property and took it back. Wyatt suggests a happy ending where the shepherd finds the black sheep, reminds him of his mistakes, takes what makes him happy and puts him in the slaughterhouse. Braun Strowman says he has nothing to say to her. If Wyatt has something to say to him, let him come to the ring and tell him in the face. Wyatt says goodbye.

Sheamus vs Leon Ruff
At the end of a match dominated by Sheamus, the latter made a Brogue Kick on Leon Ruff for the fall victory.
Winner: Sheamus
– After the game, Sheamus goes to the commentator table and asks Michael Cole if he will talk about his best friend Jeff Hardy.
– The fourth part of the documentary on Jeff Hardy is shown. He will be at SmackDown next week.
– Sheamus is still facing Michael Cole. He tells her that he will also be there next week.
– Behind the scenes, Kayla Braxton is with Otis and Mandy Rose. Braxton asks Otis for his strategy to win tonight. Otis replies that he will win tonight as he did at WrestleMania, he will do it for him and his princess. Braxton talks about Sonya Deville’s betrayal. Rose says it hurt her, but she looks forward, not backward. Carmella is a former Money in the Bank champion and winner. She’s not going to make him a Moonwalk. She kisses Otis and leaves.

Mandy Rose vs Carmella
At the end of the match, Carmella takes advantage of the fact that Mandy Rose is distracted by Sonya Deville who was speaking on the stage to make her a Superkick, followed by the fall of the victory.
Winner: Carmella
– After the match, Sonya Deville beats Mandy Rose.
– Behind the scenes, Mandy Rose is with a doctor. Otis arrives and asks him if it’s okay. Rose says it’s okay. Otis leaves and meets Dolph Ziggler who asks him if Rose is fine. Otis does not answer and Ziggler leaves.

– Tag Team Match
The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) vs The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler) accompanied by Jaxson Ryker
At the end of the match, Kofi Kingston continues punching Steve Cutler in the corner but the latter carries him on his shoulders and Wesley Blake takes over. Cutler throws Kingston at Blake who knees him in the back. The Forgotten Sons continue with a Reverse DDT assisted by a Stomp for the fall victory.
Winners: The Fogotten Sons
– Behind the scenes, Kayla Braxton is with Tamina and tells her about her match against Bayley. Tamina says it took 4 women to beat her at WrestleMania, so she is ready to take on the challenge. Sasha Banks shows up and says that Tamina was by her side for her debut. She helped her a lot. They can act like strong women instead of doing low blows. Bayley arrives from behind to attack Tamina. Lacey Evans comes to help Tamina, but the officials arrive to separate them.
– Behind the scenes, Dolph Ziggler is with Sonya Deville. She would have liked to see Otis’ face when Ziggler asked him how Mandy Rose was earlier. Ziggler is going to hurt Otis tonight. Ziggler agrees and says fans support Otis because they can recognize him, or sit next to him on the couch drinking beers. Otis is the person who thinks that the heart takes over skill. He will be in the ring and he will do what he does best than anyone. He will win tonight and win Money in the Bank again, then he will cash the contract again. He will once again be champion.
– Next week: Drew Gulak, Daniel Bryan and a mystery partner will face Shinsuke Nakamura, King Corbin and Cesaro. Lacey Evans will team up with Tamina to face Sasha Banks and Bayley. We will also have a face to face meeting between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman.

Otis vs Dolph Ziggler
At the end of the match, Dolph Ziggler wants to do a Superkick on Otis but the latter avoids him and gives him an Exploder followed by his Caterpillar Elbow Drop to win by falling.
Winner: Otis
