Commentators Vic Joseph, Beth Phoenix & Wade Barrett welcome us to the fourth edition of NXT TakeOver: WarGames. The WarGames cage is then lowered from the hall ceiling for the first time.

WarGames Match
Team Candice LeRae (Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez) won against Team Shotzi Blackheart (Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley & Io Shirai) via pin by Raquel Gonzalez against Io Shirai after a middle rope chokeslam through a ladder bridge between the two rings.
Match time: 35:21

– After Shotzi had already driven into the arena with her new tank, she now brought a toolbox into the cage.

– Toni Storm brought several kendo sticks into the cage.
7. I Shirai (18:24)
– Io Shirai also went shopping and brought a ladder to the cage fight. When she wanted to enter the cage with another kendo stick, Raquel took the stick from her and closed the door so that Io could not enter the cage. It was similar with a second ladder and several chairs. When Io tried to climb the cage wall, Gonzalez Shotzi Blackheart powerbombed the cage and knocked Shirai down again. Meanwhile, Toni Storm used her belt to keep the door locked.
8. Candice LeRae (21:55)
– When Candice LeRae tried to enter the cage, Io Shirai stared down. However, this was attacked by Indi Hartwell. Hartwell and LeRae tossed more objects into the ring and LeRae entered the cage. With a steel chain and a padlock, Indi Hartwell locked the cage and stowed the key securely in her clothes.
– Shortly afterwards, Io Shirai was standing on the edge of the cage with a garbage can. She put her head and torso in the garbage can and jumped blindly on the other wrestlers who had dutifully positioned themselves in the middle of the ring.

After the match, Indi Hartwell comes back to the cage and opens the door. The five heels in the ring celebrate victory together.

In a recorded promo, NXT Champion Finn Bálor explains that fans should enjoy “NXT TakeOver: WarGames” today. From Wednesday all eyes will be on the Prince again.

We see the Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish) and The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch) arrive at the Performance Center a few hours ago.

2. Match
Singles Match
Tommaso Ciampa won against Timothy Thatcher via pin after Rope Hung DDT.
Match time: 16:46
– Thatcher sustained a laceration on his ear during a running knee strike Ciampas.

Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher sit on the apron after the match and deliver a star-down, pained. While Thatcher slowly withdraws, Ciampa celebrates his victory in the ring.

A video recapitulates the “horror feud” between Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes. Grimes then comes to the ring with his own leather strap and asks the referee to use the leather strap he brought with him. When the referee asks Dexter Lumis if he has a problem with it, he doesn’t respond at all. Grimes uses this for a pre-match attack. At some point, however, Lumis can gain the upper hand and put on his leather bracelet, which officially begins the match.

Dexter Lumis won against Cameron Grimes via submission in the strap-assisted silence.

When the commentators introduce and advertise the WarGames cage as a toy, the hall light flickers. Then a raven is shown. Tony Schiavone already oils his voice …

NXT North American Championship
Triple Threat Match
Johnny Gargano won against Leon Ruff (c) and Damian Priest via pin against Leon Ruff after the One Final Beat -> Title change!
Match time: 17:30
– Damian Priest carried Leon Ruff through a plexiglass wall with the Razor’s Edge. The impact was so great that Ruff had to be accompanied to the backstage area by several referees. A few minutes later he returned and dominated his opponents at times.
– After about 14 minutes, Priest Gargano had actually already defeated the South of Heaven, but he was attacked by six ghost faces. Priest was initially able to shake off this successfully.
– After about 17 minutes a Ghostface Priest was able to take out with a steel pipe. Gargano used this to defeat Ruff.

The tubular steel ghostface emerges with the words “It’s me, Austin! It was me all along, Austin! ”As Austin Theory.

The NXT special “New Years Evil” is announced for January 6, 2021.

The WarGames cage will shut down for the second time. The feud between the Undisputed Era and the Kings of NXT is recapitulated.

WarGames Match
The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish) won against The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch) via pin by Kyle O’Reilly against Oney Lorcan after a chair -assisted diving knee drop.
Match time: 45:02

– Danny Burch brought two cricket bats into the cage.

– Pat McAfee pushed four tables decorated with the four names of the Undisputed Era members and several chairs into the ring.
8. Adam Cole (21:33)
– Adam Cole gained access to the cage with a fire extinguisher that he used against his opponents.
– The typical “I’m jumping from the edge of the cage onto all the other wrestlers who have gathered in the middle of the ring” spot today showed Pat McAfee with a Swanton Bomb from the edge of the cage.

The show goes off air with a celebrating Undisputed Era.
