AJ Styles referenced former allies during a promo on WWE Raw, expressing a sense of isolation ahead of his match against El Grande Americano.
Styles, preparing to face Americano, noted this marked the first time in his career he lacked backup, citing the departures of Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and Michin. He suggested someone intentionally dismantled his support system, leading him to believe someone within WWE wants him gone. Styles vowed to inflict pain on that unseen adversary through his victory over Americano. Despite interference from masked luchadores, Styles won the match with assistance from Dragon Lee, who subsequently affirmed his support for Styles in a backstage segment.
Following the match and again after last week’s Raw, Styles expressed missing the camaraderie of Anderson, gallows, and Omos. The trio originally reunited in 2022 as The OC,alongside Michin, but were released from thier WWE contracts in February. Michin currently wrestles on SmackDown, where he recently lost a United States title match against Giulia.
