Helicopters flying low can be seen around the Würzburg Schenkenturm on Wednesday and Thursday.
But there is no reason to worry. The helicopter flights are part of the training at the fire brigade school in Würzburg.
Flight assistants are trained in handling extinguishing containers. These containers are attached to and detached from helicopters.
That’s why the helicopters keep flying back and forth between the Schenkenturm and the Main near the Erlabrunn lock. There the pilots take water into the extinguishing tanks.
