“We will return to normal operations in the district office from Monday, June 29,” explains district administrator Thomas Eberth. Then the Würzburg district office is open again to all citizens of the district, as it says in a press release.
The best possible protection against infection for all employees and visitors is of immense importance to the district administrator. There is a hygiene concept for this, which includes the obligation to wear mouth and nose protection, to keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters and to comply with the generally applicable hygiene rules.
Longer waiting times possible at the beginning
After weeks of corona-restricted traffic, there may be waiting times for things to be done in the district office. Eberth asks for your understanding and points out that it makes sense to contact the clerk by phone or email first. There can be considerable waiting times, especially at the immigration office, where we urgently ask you to make an appointment by phone.
Approvals only from July 6 again without an appointment
All registrations for the registration and deregistration of vehicles have already been made for the week from June 29 to July 3 (KW 27). The district office asks for your understanding that admission or deregistration without an appointment can only be made possible with considerable waiting times. Under certain circumstances, people without an appointment cannot be considered.
From July 6, 2020 vehicles can be registered again without an appointment. Vehicle registrations for residents of the city of Würzburg are currently still not possible.
