WPIX-TV to Broadcast NJ Governor & Lt. Governor Debates

PIX11 to Broadcast Live Coverage of New Jersey Gubernatorial & Lt. Governor Candidate Events

NEW YORK, NY – September 22, 2025 ⁢- WPIX-TV (PIX11), “New YorkS Very‌ Own,” will provide​ exclusive live coverage of key⁣ events ​featuring the candidates vying for⁣ the offices of New Jersey Governor and Lt. Governor. The‌ broadcasts will include the New Jersey Lieutenant​ Governor’s Debate on Tuesday, September 30, and the New Jersey Governor’s Forum on Friday, October 3.

Both events,hosted by Kean University ‍in Union,New Jersey,are scheduled to air live from 7-8 p.m. ET across all PIX11 ⁢platforms. Viewers will also find pre-debate coverage on PIX11, with post-debate analysis available exclusively on PIX11’s streaming and ​digital channels.

The Lieutenant Governor’s Debate, officially ⁤titled “Debate Night in NJ: Lieutenant Governor,” is an official debate sponsored⁤ by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement ⁤commission ⁤(ELEC). It ⁤will feature Republican nominee Morris County Sheriff James‌ M. Gannon and Democratic​ nominee Centenary University President ‍Dale ⁢G. Caldwell.

In addition ⁣to PIX11, the ⁢debate will be simulcast on WPHL-TV (PHL17)‍ in Philadelphia, ‌Townsquare Media’s New ‍Jersey 101.5 FM, and streamed on PIX11+, PIX11.com, ‍PHL17.com, and NJ1015.com.

The Governor’s Forum, ⁤ “One on One: Race for ​NJ ⁤governor,” will be produced by PIX11 News and feature Democratic Party‍ nominee U.S. Representative mikie Sherrill and Republican Party nominee⁢ former ​Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli. This forum will consist of ‍unscripted, one-on-one interviews with each candidate. The⁤ program will also be‌ simulcast on PHL17.
