Worsening of the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia – Putin announced further steps

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced “further practical steps aimed at easing tensions” on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

It should be noted that the members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization held an extraordinary session of the Rada by videoconference.

During the meeting, the participants supported “the mediation efforts of the Russian Federation aimed at stabilizing the situation in the region”.

“Putin has provided information on further practical steps on the Russian side to ease the tension that has arisen,” said the CSTO website.

By the way, during the meeting, the members of the Organization reached an agreement on sending a CSTO mission to Armenia.
