UNESCO award must be defended
Vienna (OTS) – On the occasion of today’s World Heritage Day, the FPÖ boss in Vienna, City Councilor Dominik Nepp, is calling for the Heumarkt project to go back to the start. “Today would be the right day for Mayor Ludwig to make a declaration that the high-rise tower will no longer be pursued and that the interests of the city of Vienna and not a real estate speculator will be represented,” said Nepp.
“The status of Vienna’s inner city as a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a magnet for tourists and must therefore be preserved. We must and will defend this award by all means and also leave it to the next generations, ”emphasizes Nepp.
