Samsung research reveals a dramatic shift in modern work habits, with outdated office technologies like fax machines and floppy disks becoming relics of the past. The findings,released to coincide with the launch of Samsung’s AI-enhanced Galaxy Z Fold7 Enterprise edition,highlight a workforce embracing flexibility and digital solutions.

Annika Bizon, representing Samsung, the company that commissioned the research, stated that “cutting-edge technology” has transformed the modern office from what it was 25 years ago. The Galaxy Z Fold7 Enterprise Edition aims to empower professionals by allowing them to work according to their preferences, unhindered by technological limitations. Bizon emphasized that today’s workforce operates without fixed locations or schedules, and their technology should reflect this freedom.

The research highlights a notable trend: 50% of workers begin their workday during their commute on days they travel to the office. Furthermore, 37% of professionals now hold entirely office-based roles, while nearly one in five split their time evenly between home and the office.
