Wonder Woman 3 upset by director Patty Jenkins’ resignation | Movies and series

It is unclear whether the third part of the Wonder Womanseries continues. Director Patty Jenkins has quit after a deal with studio Warner Bros. She had clashed over her plans for the film, she reports The Hollywood Reporter based on various sources.

In any case, this means that the Wonder Woman 3 that Jenkins predicted will not arrive. The script he submitted for the film didn’t match the studio’s plans.

The director made the first two films about the superheroine played by Gal Gadot. Dutch model Doutzen Kroes had a supporting role in both films.

It has been buzzing around DC Comics, Warner’s superhero brand, for some time now. The lead role was recently taken by Peter Safran and James Gunn, formerly of Marvel Guardians of the Galaxyseries made.

Safran and Gunn are hammering out a plan for DC Comics’ new direction, which has left many previously announced projects suddenly in doubt.

It’s also not clear what happens to other films of the Wonder Womanthe series happens, like the planned spin-off Amazons. Warner declined to comment.
