Won 3-0, Die Roten Bullen Gusur Bayern

RB Leipzig grabbed a 3-0 win over Sc freiburg on Gameday ke-24 Bundesliga. This result led them to evict Bayern Munich from the top of the standings.

Leipzig travel to Schwarzwald-Stadion to face Freiburg, Saturday (6/3/2021) evening WIB. The visitors appeared to be pressing at the start of the match.

Die Rotten Bullen threatened in the 24th minute through Alexander Sorloth’s kick from inside the penalty box. However, Freiburg’s goalkeeper, Florian Mueller, kicked the attacker from Norway.

In the 40th minute, Leipzig again spread opportunities. Dani Olmo opened fire after receiving a bait pull from Christopher Nkunku. Mueller still looks good by catching the ball.

Leipzig’s efforts to score a goal finally paid off towards the end of the first half. With a neat appearance, Mueller was tarnished by his mistake in making a pass in the 41st minute.

Mueller’s bait can be cut by Kevin Kampl. The ball then goes to Yussuf Poulsen who controls the ball well in front of the goal.

Poulsen handed the ball which Nkunku finished to become a goal. The 1-0 score for Leipzig lasted until the interval.

In the second half, Julian’s men managed to double their position in the 64th minute. Sorloth scored with a left footed shot after receiving feedback from Nkunku. Leipzig 2-0.

In the 79th minute, Sorloth again played a role in Leipzig’s goal. He provided an assist for Emil Forsberg to break into Freiburg’s goal.

Forsberg took off a measured horizontal kick from the edge of the penalty box. The ball rolled into the left corner of the goal without being dammed by Mueller.

Liepzig closed the match with a 3-0 win. These results make them to the top of the standings displacing Bayern Munich with 53 points. They are one point ahead of Die Rotten.

As for Freiburg, the defeat against Leipzig kept them in 8th place. Christian Streich’s troops grabbed 34 points.
