An Irish woman has taken a striking ‘revenge’ on her New Zealand husband after he decided to go fishing at a really bad time. But luckily he could laugh about it.

The New Zealand couple Linda and John have two sons, ages four and six. They tied the knot in 2019, but it’s not always a cake and egg between the two. When John recently went fishing, Linda had had enough. A fishing trip like this isn’t uncommon for John, but the timing wasn’t right. The children were home for the school holidays and because John was busy at work, Linda was usually home alone with the children. So she couldn’t appreciate John leaving her alone with the kids to go fishing.
Linda therefore decided to put her husband on an auction site. He is 1.85 m tall, 37 years old and a cattle farmer, she wrote on the website. According to Linda, her husband had already had multiple owners, but if he was properly nourished and hydrated, he would remain faithful.
She also wrote that he “loves long conversations about the weather and pastures” and that he pays special attention to “hydration”. “Also suffers from socks-on-the-floor itus, which I’ve found is contagious for younger models and unfortunately keeps coming back.”
12 bids came in and the highest bid was already 100 dollars, but just hours later the ad was removed by the website itself. John himself couldn’t help but laugh at the whole incident and even kept a close eye on the ad to see how much they’d bid for him.
