Woman opens emergency plane door because she is ‘too hot’ and sits on wing | Abroad

According to CNN, the aircraft was grounded in Ukraine due to technical problems. The passengers had to stay on the plane while a solution was sought. But that apparently took the woman too long.

Images taken by airport employees show the woman sitting quietly on the wing until she is summoned, presumably by a flight attendant, to come back in. The woman, whose identity is not known, is said to be on the run with her husband and children. Other passengers would have heard that the woman was “too hot” and needed to cool off.

Getting some fresh air has landed her on a lifelong ban from Ukraine International Airlines (UIA). The woman was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to society, security guards and the police.

The incident took place on Monday. The woman is likely to be fined, according to UIA.
