A woman was also harassed in the Utrecht neighborhood of Lunetten on Monday evening. She was cycling through the neighborhood around 10:30 pm when she was suddenly grabbed by a man. The woman was able to break free and run. In the past three months, the Utrecht police received more reports of a man harassing (cycling) women at various places in the border area of Lunetten with Hoograven. The man would approach the women from behind each time.

This morning the police were alerted about a woman who had been ‘attacked’ in the park between Lunetten and Hoograven. This happened along the track on the Houtensepad. Police via Burgernet called on people in the area to look for a white man on a bicycle, estimated to be 25 to 40 years old and wearing a gray hoodie. The man was also searched for half an hour by a police helicopter. According to a police spokeswoman, he was not arrested. It is not known how the victim is doing.
