This is exactly what Cris Galera (33) seemed to have thought when she nailed it on September 13th.
The Brazilian model said yes to herself and announced this happy event on Instagram.
“I woke up! Yes, folks, it’s true! I’ve joined the sologamy wave. I’m celebrating my self-love,” she wrote under a photo of her in a white wedding dress.

Visibly beaming, Galera stands in front of a Catholic church in São Paulo and holds the bridal bouquet in the air. She wants to inspire other women to increase their self-worth through a solo marriage and to celebrate this appropriately.
But how did this strange idea come about?
“I’ve reached a point where I’ve matured and I’ve realized that I’m a strong and determined woman. I was always afraid of being alone, but I realized that I had to learn to feel good about myself” , the 33-year-old confessed in an interview with the Daily Star.

Unfortunately, the influencer has since received numerous messages from single men and even women who want to marry her.
“It’s a shame because I’m not going to get a divorce anytime soon,” joked Galera.
Among those willing to marry there was allegedly even a very rich Arab sheikh who had offered her 500,000 US dollars (around 426,000 euros) so that he could marry her. At least that’s what the model claims.
“He wrote the offer in English and that’s the only way I could translate it. We’ve talked before, but to be honest, I’m not for sale.”
