NEW YORK – A 20-year-old woman apparently died after falling onto the subway tracks at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan on Tuesday night, police say.
It’s still unclear what happened, but police say the woman fell onto the tracks on the platform of the southbound 7 train just before a train pulled up around 10:40 p.m.
She was struck and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
No criminality is suspected.
