On Saturday afternoon, a woman was stabbed in the street in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek. This confirms the Brussels public prosecutor’s office. The woman died in hospital from her injuries. Shortly after the facts, a suspect was arrested.

The stabbing took place on Saturday afternoon in Olifantenstraat. There a woman was stabbed by a man on the open road. According to The newspapaer the man and woman would have known each other, but what exactly happened is still unclear.
The victim was taken to hospital, but died of her injuries there. The man was arrested on the spot and made available to the public prosecutor’s office. The public prosecutor opened a judicial investigation and stepped down on the spot with the lab and the law doctor.
