Who was Włodzimierz Wander?
Włodzimierz Wander, brother of Bogumiła Wander, was considered one of the most important figures of Polish rock’n’roll.
Composer, vocalist and saxophonist performed in bands Blue and Black, Glade i Wanderpol, with whom he toured, among others after the USA, the USSR and the GDR. In 1965, he went on tour with a popular British group The Animals.
He drove in Chicago for many years Polish music club “Cardinal Club”, in which the greatest stars, incl. Czeslaw Niemen, Skaldowie, Stan Boris whether Krystyna Prońko.
