During the arrest, the three of them tried to fight back and tried to grab the officers’ weapons.
The three perpetrators were declared dead on the way to the National Police Hospital, Kramatjati, East Jakarta.
The Jakarta Police Chief, Inspector General Nana Sudjana, said that the police had previously arrested 10 suspects for bicycle robbers in six different locations in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.
“Previously there were 10 suspects, now we have arrested 12 suspects, so that a total of 22 people. Of the 12 people who were just arrested, three of them fought back and wanted to seize the weapons of this special team of robbers so that strong action was taken,” said Nana to reporters. , Saturday (7/11).
Three suspects with the initials RAF, FA and ADN died when they were rushed to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
The plan is that the bodies of the three perpetrators will be brought home by the family the next day.
Of the 12 people who had just been arrested, three died, seven were robbers, including two Marines, and two as custodians.
