“Well, from several complaints it is also suspected that these activities could lead to investment managers because the investment adviser is not allowed to manage funds. But from public complaints, some say that Jouska is buying or selling securities from clients. “So, our activities as an investment manager still need deepening. But his activities as an investment adviser are clear and and Akkar (CEO of Jouska, Aakar Abyasa) acknowledges the decision of the Investment Alert Task Force.”
He also said that if it is true that the company is proven to have committed the violation, the punishment will be adjusted to the applicable law.
“This is if there has been a violation of the Capital Market Law, there is a criminal offense in article 103, there could be a legal threat for up to 5 years and a fine of 5 billion. Capital Market, “he stressed.
When asked about the investment value and the number of investors from the company, Tongam said the investigation had not gone that far.
“There has not been any deepening there, but what is certain is that this activity is an activity without permission and is allegedly a violation of capital market law,” he explained.
