On December 7 at 18:00, members of the Literary Academy of Seaside Cities (PPLA) will meet the poet Aivaras Eipurus in a creative workshop, who will analyze the cycles of poems they have sent. Before that – in the previous lecture on November 16 – the head of the PPLA – the lecturer of the University of Liepāja Linda Zulmane and the member of the PPLA – the writer Gunita Lagzdiņa, who works as a proofreader and editor, also dissected the poems . In his analysis, attention was paid to both the grammar of the poems and the inaccuracies and illogicalities of the style. On the other hand, A. Eipurs will more appreciate the content side of poetry and the manner of expression of new poets. Additionally, the main workshop leader will encourage a discussion of the realities of the literary process and discuss the role of competitions in creating new works.
