Three people were injured as a result of a gas explosion in the town of Pradła near Zawiercie (Śląskie Voivodeship). There is a 10-year-old child among the victims. – Everyone has extensive burns – says WP Grzegorz Nowak from the fire brigade in Zawiercie.
Firefighters were alerted about the explosion in Pradło on Saturday evening around 19. It turned out that the explosion set off a fire in the garage and three cars inside. According to the firefighters, the force of the explosion was high, and the smoke from the fire was visible from a distance of several kilometers.
– Three people inside, including a 10-year-old child, were injured. The injured were transported by helicopters of the Polish Medical Air Rescue to hospitals. They have burns of a large part of the body, mainly of the second degree, explains Asp. Grzegorz Nowak from the fire brigade in Zawiercie.

Everything indicates that a gas cylinder used in car repairs exploded.
Witnesses mention several explosions, but it is possible that these were the tires of cars that burned down in the fire. The causes of the explosion will probably be indicated by fire experts.
