Warsaw. There was a protest in the city streets after a court ruled on a two-month detention for an activist for destroying an anti-abortion van. The demonstration moved to Nowy Świat, the Royal Route was blocked. The activist was finally arrested and a group of people surrounded the car she was in. Officers continue to detain more protesters.

It all started when one of the activists from the Stop Bzdurom organization, nicknamed Margot, is to be arrested for two months. As Sylwester Marczak, spokesman of the Warsaw Police Headquarters, explained in an interview with Wirtualna Polska, it is a case conducted in the context of, inter alia, forcing to behave in a specific manner, with slight detriment to health and damage to property. It has to do with recent damage van pro-life organizations in Warsaw. – We are dealing with a change of the temporary preventive measure. The court granted the prosecutor’s appeal, added Marczak.
Margot was on the premises of the Campaign Against Homophobia when the police were on the way to intervene. A group of people gathered to block the entrance to the building. Eventually, the activist left him, she wanted to turn herself over to the police. However, the officers did not arrest her.
