Windows 10 20H2, or in other words October update this year, it is already operating in 8.8 percent. computers with the “ten”. This is the expected pace of deployment, but also means that the vast majority of computers are running on an older version of Windows 10. Statistics show that nearly half of Windows 10 users are running versions released in 2019 or even earlier.
Such conclusions allow to draw the recently published company statistics AdDuplex created on the basis of displayed ads. It turns out that Windows 10 20H2, available for over a month, still has not hit over 90 percent. computers with the “ten”. The largest part of Windows 10 users uses the 20H1 (37.6%) and 19H2 (36.4%) versions.
Interestingly, a considerable number of installations of much older versions of Windows 10 is still visible. Over 10 percent. users still use the “dozen” 19H1 released more than a year and a half ago, and more than 6.5 percent. from version 1809 (which support ended on November 10 this year) or even older releases.
Of course, about themselves functions this is not a problem, but the risk is a lack of updates. People who do not care about current system updates run the risk of having security problems. Older versions of Windows 10 can also be problematic with the compatibility of some drivers.
