Milan –
AC Milan managed to beat Atalanta 2-0 in continuation Liga Italy. The result made the Rossoneri closer to the Scudetto.
AC Milan vs Atalanta, which took place at the San Siro, was completed on Monday (16/5/2022) early morning WIB. The Rossoneri won 2-0 through goals from Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez in the second half.
These results make Milan steady at the top of the Italian League Serie A standings with 83 points. Il Diavolo Rosso at least only needs one more point to lock the Scudetto.
Inter Milan is the only competitor of AC Milan. The Nerazzurri are on 78 points and have just a few minutes to go against hosts Cagliari. If you don’t win, Milan will be the champion.
The course of the match
The match was tough during the first 15 minutes even though Milan pressed a lot. During that time, no shots were fired.
Milan created the first opportunity in the 20th minute. Rafael Leao fired a measured shot from the side of the penalty box, but the direction of the ball was still predictable by Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso.
