according to Gizmochina, Sunday (11/28/2021), the reason Samsung turned off the Galaxy Note series was because they wanted to focus on sales folding screen cellphone.
This reasoning makes sense because until the first half of 2021, Samsung has sold 2.3 million units of folding screen cellphones worldwide.
Please note, this number does not include the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 which is believed to be successful in the market.
The smartphone was launched together with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the second half of 2021 yesterday.
Samsung is also targeting sales of folding screen cellphones, both Z Flip and Z Fold, to reach 13 million units next year.
The abolition of the Galaxy Note series allows Samsung to focus on producing foldable devices next year.
