Will the Let’s Go capture method return for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes? ~ Millennium Pokémon

In recent days, a rumor concerning the fourth generation remakes of the Pokémon games has been spreading on the internet. The origins of this rumor actually date back to 2019, during the month of October, the period in which a user on 4chan made a prediction, stating the existence of Mr. Mime in Galar and its evolution, rumors that proved correct. In the same post, the user also stated that the remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will have the same capture mechanics found in the Pokémon: Let’s Go.

The other rumor stated on 4chan’s post explaining how the fossils would be a combination of these put together was also confirmed in Pokémon Sword and Shield. However, the rumor stated that the remakes should have been released in 2020, which then did not happen since the DLC of the eighth generation games were released in their place. What could make this rumor credible is also the fact that Pokémon Center, a Twitter account that often publishes leaks of the titles of pocket monsters, stated that i remakes will arrive during 2021.

However, one thing that differs from the post published on 4chan is the capture method that will be used in the games; Another Pokémon Center tweet would support the rumor’s falsity, saying that the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes would have no reason to adopt the Pokémon: Let’s Go method of catching, also stating that the long-awaited games would never be intended for 2020.
