JAKARTA, iNews.id – Good news for the gamer. This week, Sony will hold a special event to announce about PlayStation (PS) 5. The event will be broadcast for 40 minutes on Wednesday 16 September 2020.
The event will include updates from Sony’s first-party game studios and third-party partners. The leak, the event will also reveal the release date and price for PlayStation 5.
“The PlayStation 5 Showcase will be broadcast live this Wednesday,” wrote the official PlayStation social media account.
Launching from The Verge, Monday (9/14/2020), Sony opened pre-registration for PS5 pre-orders last month, but the company still hasn’t shared a date for pre-orders or official information regarding the price and release date.
Meanwhile, the site also believes that Sony will announce full details including the price and release date of the Playstation 5 on Wednesday this week.
This is considering that Microsoft has opened Xbox preorders on September 22nd. The Microsoft Xbox Series X console is priced at 499 US dollars.
However, Sony is said to be preparing two different prices for the PS5 ‘digital edition’ and the regular PS5.
