According to the National Assembly’s bill information system on the 14th, Rep. Ha Young-je, a member of the National Assembly’s National Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, proposed an amendment to the’Authorized Brokerage Act’ on the 11th.

The amendment included the creation of a new regulation requiring the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to determine the number of candidates taking into account the number of applicants for the certified broker qualification test for the previous three years, and the number of certified brokers and certified brokers affiliated with them.

As of the end of last year, there were 450,000 people with certified brokerage licenses, of which only about 106,000 (23.5%) opened a certified brokerage office, and only about 14,000 were employed as their affiliated brokerage.

It is explained that it is necessary to convert the selection test to relative evaluation as a way to solve this problem as the realtor market is saturated. Rep.
