Should we be sober in our holiday shopping when we see prices go up? “The Shopping Cart” has taken over 20% in just a few weeks. How much will we budget for the holidays? According to a recent CSA survey, we are at 568 euros per person, all inclusive, of which 354 euros for gifts, 127 for meals, 27 for decorations or an average of 23 euros for clothing.

Let’s say the purchasing power is at half mast, there’s this concern about the end-of-year holidays, linked to inflation. However, we can see a paradox as there have never been so many people in the shops last week on Black Friday. This famous Friday of November promotions attracted 20% more customers than last year.
