The future of Fiat is one of those that are still shrouded in mystery among the Stellantis brands. While Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati have more or less announced or at least hinted at the future cars that will characterize their range in the coming years, many things are still unknown from the main Italian car manufacturer. One of the few certainties is that a new B-SUV should be unveiled next year. According to the latest rumors it could be called Fiat Uno Cross.
Will Fiat Uno Cross be the name of the future B-SUV of the main Italian manufacturer?
The name Fiat Uno Cross is not too surprising as rumors had already circulated in recent months that the name of Uno could be dusted off. Indeed Olivier Francoisnumber one of Fiat had confirmed the possibility of wanting to use one of the names that are part of the history of the main Italian car manufacturer for some of the future models.
The reference goes to the so-called Panda Family which will be opposed to that of the 500 and which in the design will take its cue from the concept Fiat Centoventi. As far as this family of cars is concerned, there should be at least 2 models in segment B and one or two in segment C. Among these there could therefore also be the name of Fiat Uno Cross.
The news obviously has yet to be confirmed but it seems increasingly likely that the name Uno may be dusted off. Most likely already in the next few months about this model should emerge further details and maybe finally the name will be made official.
We remind you that the new Fiat Uno Cross or whatever this model will be called, will be produced at the factory Stellantis di Tychy in Poland starting next year. This at least if there are no delays. The vehicle will be built on the CMP platform and will be built together with the Alfa Romeo Brenner and the Jeep B-SUV which for the moment does not yet have a name.
