Two young men got into an argument on the street in Vienna’s Landstrasse late on Monday afternoon. A 21-year-old Syrian is said to have threatened a 24-year-old Syrian with a knife. The police stepped in and arrested the suspect.
But that didn’t stop the case: on Monday evening around 10:20 p.m., the 24-year-old was attacked by the 46-year-old father and the 18-year-old brother of the arrested suspect. They are said to have hit and injured the 24-year-old together with a third, as yet unknown person.
Again the police had to intervene. The 24-year-old was cared for by the professional rescue service and taken to a hospital. It is not yet known what the dispute was about.
