Widening A2 continues | Inland

Limburg’s main thoroughfare will be overhauled from next year. The work must be completed in five years. The passage of asphalt projects has become a problem now that the Council of State has reservations about the nitrogen calculations used by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

No nitrogen objection was raised by green organizations in the plan to modernize the A2. In addition to the widening, eleven viaducts and underpasses will be renovated and three fauna passages will be built.
