Chinese crossover will have a serious impact on the market.
Renault Arkana has been popular in Russia since last year, but soon the “Frenchman” will either have to leave the market or graze the rear due to the emergence of a new powerful competitor. We are talking about the new GAC Trumpchi GS4, which will arrive in Russia by the end of this year.
It is interesting that the “heavenly” crossover has already reached Chinese dealers and in April will arrive in coupe-like and hybrid versions. Only standard version of the new GAC Trumpchi GS4 will arrive in Russia.
What will the new Chinese crossover overshadow the Renault Arkana? First of all, it is worth pointing out the external appearance of the GAC Trumpchi GS4, which in many respects resembles the “Arkana”, but still differs in a more vivid and distinctive design, thanks to which it stands out from the general mass of classmates. It should be noted that the French coupe crossover did not even stand in front of the Chinese SUV, which surpasses the competitor in practicality and size.
In addition, the new Chinese crossover outperforms Renault Arkana, thanks to a high-quality interior and advanced technological equipment, which can be found in the Arcana only in the top versions. By the way, the interior of the French coupe-shaped crossover is sheathed with cheap and hard materials, which again speaks in favor of the new GAC Trumpchi GS4.
Another plus of the “Celestial” SUV is engine power – under the hood of the GAC Trumpchi GS4 there is a single 1.5-liter turbo engine with 169 horsepower, while the Arkana is equipped with a large number of engines, but they are not as productive as the Chinese . In addition, the Chinese crossover is equipped with a manual transmission and automatic transmission, while the “Frenchman” scares away customers constantly breaking CVT.
Thus, the appearance of the new GAC Trumpchi GS4 will seriously affect the Russian market – after the Chinese crossover Renault Arkana is released, nothing else shines. “Chinese”, who can do anything – the “heavenly” SUV truly deserves such a characteristic.
