USC Secures Top Offensive Line Talent Over Georgia

Class of 2026 Recruit Breck Kolojay Commits to Trojans

The USC Trojans have landed a significant commitment for their 2026 recruiting class, securing four-star interior offensive lineman Breck Kolojay. The talented prospect chose USC over fellow powerhouse Georgia, signaling a potential shift in recruiting momentum for the Trojans.

Why USC Won Out

Kolojay revealed his decision this week, highlighting his belief in the program Lincoln Riley is building. “I believe in what they (USC) are building right now, and I trust all of those guys, Coach (Lincoln) Riley and Coach (Zach) Hanson,” Kolojay stated. He further added that the opportunities in Los Angeles and USC’s upward trajectory played a crucial role.

Kolojay‘s commitment bolsters a USC 2026 class that is currently ranked second nationally by 247Sports, trailing only the Georgia Bulldogs. The class already features top recruits like five-star offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe and tight end Mark Bowman.

Kolojay’s Scouting Profile

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 320 pounds, Kolojay hails from Bradenton, Florida. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 21 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 cycle. Director of scouting Andrew Ivins described Kolojay as an “advanced offensive line prospect with college-ready size” who “will unlock a mean streak and take assignments into the turf.”

USC’s Recruiting Landscape

The Trojans have experienced a mixed bag in recruiting over the past two seasons, failing to crack the top 10 classes in 2024 and 2025. This strong 2026 showing could indicate a resurgence in their recruiting efforts under Riley. In 2023, USC finished 8-5, followed by a 7-6 record in 2024, a dip from their 11-3 performance in Riley‘s inaugural 2022 season.

The commitment of Kolojay comes as Riley heads into his fourth year, aiming to return USC to its historic dominance. The program, once a perennial national title contender under Pete Carroll, seeks to reclaim its place at the pinnacle of college football.
