Why iPhone Owners Are Switching to Motorola’s Razr Foldable Device

Motorola has never been the market leader in foldable mobile devices. Despite this, Razr smartphones are in high demand among iPhone owners.

CNet journalists interviewed Allison Yi, who works at Motorola as head of the North American product division. She said that 20% of purchasers of foldable Razr gadgets are former iPhone owners.

According to Yi, in the first place, “Apple” in Razr attracts the form factor. This is because there is not a single foldable smartphone in Apple’s product line. The woman stressed that we are talking about the North American market, where the only competitor of Razr is Samsung Flip.

This week, Motorola launched the revolutionary low-cost Razr 40 foldable device to the Chinese market. Its price is 560 USD. In the North American market, only the “older” version of the Razr Plus will be sold at $1,000.
