GridHype.ID – In order to break the chain of distribution Covid-19, the government is currently intensively implementing a vaccination program Covid-19 to society.
However, not a few people are afraid when receiving vaccinations Covid-19.
The reason is, side effects which is caused in different ways.
However, experts say that side effects what happens after being vaccinated is a natural thing to happen.
Then another question arises, namely ‘Why are the side effects of Covid-19 stronger for women than for men?’
Because this appears, experts explain why.
Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say that women tend to have stronger side effects to the Covid-19 vaccine than men.
Experts say this is common with vaccinations because the estrogen in a woman’s body is designed to elicit a stronger immune response.

They added that women should not hesitate to get the Covid-19 vaccine because the potential consequences of the disease are much worse than the side effects of vaccination.
A report released by the CDC found that of the first 13.8 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine given to Americans, more reports of side effects came from women.
In fact, 79% of reported side effects were from women, even though only 61% of vaccines were given to women.
The researchers calmed what was happening, and it was a common occurrence.
They (the researchers) show that a stronger response from women to other vaccinations has been seen over the years.
Experts suspect that in women, especially premenopausal women, estrogen levels help activate the immune response to disease and, therefore, to vaccines.
In contrast, men have more testosterone, a hormone that somewhat dampens or slows down the same response.
Simply put, women generally have a stronger response to vaccines because their bodies are faster and stronger at activating what the vaccine introduces into the body.
“Infectious disease in general has always been about the immune response and not the bugs,” said Dr. Larry Schlesinger, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio.
“In women, there is a more enthusiastic and stronger response to many vaccines,” she told Healthline.
There is actually a lot of science behind this. In the past, says Schlesinger, stronger responses in women have been seen and studied in vaccines for yellow fever, DPT, influenza and other ailments.
Schlesinger says estrogen prompts the body to produce more T cells, the reactor cells that protect us, when the vaccine is injected.
Because of this, she says, she saw the faster and stronger response that many women experienced.
