Why 1,400 Bukopin KB Employees Resigned, What’s Up?

Jakarta

About 1,400 Officers KB Bukopin resigned at the end of 2021. These employees come from all Bukopin KB branch offices throughout Indonesia.

In response to this incident, Bukopin’s KB opened its voice. KB Bukopin Corporate Communication Tyas Hardi explained that this resignation was still related to the company’s transformation.

“Now the transformation is in the human capital aspect, so the company actually opens a program for optimization. The program is voluntary,” said Tyas when contacted by detikcom, Saturday (22/1/2022).

In addition, according to Tyas, there is no appointment or coercion in this program. It also does not have minimum requirements, so all employees of various ages and lengths of work can join this program.

According to him, KB Bukopin is also trying to provide support to employees participating in the program. For example, they still provide health insurance benefits for employees and their families for the next 6 months.

Then KB Bukopin also provides training for former employees who want to be entrepreneurs or want to work in other sectors. This program is indeed offered at the end of 2021 and closes on December 31, 2021.

Tyas said the company also continues to provide severance pay whose value is said to be greater than the stipulated provisions.

He added that this program is also related to the transformation towards digitalization of banks. “KB Bukopin will also develop the New Generation Banking System (NGBS) which was adopted from the parent in South Korea,” he explained
