Film Whoopi Goldberg (64) is going to take on the role of the singing nun Deloris one more time. The actress confirms that a third ‘Sister Act’ film is being worked on.
“For a long time they said no one wanted to see that movie,” said Whoopi Goldberg in an interview with The Late Late Show. “Very recently it turned out that this may not be true. People may want to see the movie. So we’re working hard on a way to get the group together and come back. ”
The actress, who also played the lead in the first parts of 1992 and 1993, is already looking forward to ‘Sister Act 3’. “It’s fun and it feels good. And you know, nobody is crazy. It’s about bad singing, beautiful singing, okay singing and nuns. What’s better than that? ”
