After two years of disruption due to Covid, the L’Paille à sons festival will resume its rights, on June 10 and 11 in Chartres, on a new site: the Grands-Prés stadium. This year, the program will offer a good place to artists from Eure-et-Loir.
Chartres: four artists from the L’Paille à sons festival not to be missed

Chartres singer Valentine Lambert takes off
She will introduce the public to the titles from her latest EP, Nomadic, released just over a year ago. His style: a hybrid between French acoustic song, folk and jazz.
2/ Gauthier Cough
Change of atmosphere just after the Valentine Lambert concert. Another Eurélien will succeed him on stage at 7:30 p.m. This is Gauthier Cough. The jazz pianist has been living in Switzerland for many years, but he trained in Lucé and Chartres and has always recognized the quality of the teaching of his Eurelian teachers.
The pianist from Chartres, Gauthier Toux, will play at Jazz à Vienne
Since then, he has come a long way by multiplying prestigious concerts, notably at the Jazz à Vienne festival last year. After excursions into electro, Gauthier Toux returns to his roots with a more classic style in trio formation, as evidenced by his latest album, The Biggest stepsreleased earlier this year.

3/ Irene Dresel
Many Eurelian artists leave the department to settle in Paris, imagining that there are many more opportunities in the capital. Irène Drésel did exactly the opposite.
