When he was introduced as a GC trainer last summer, João Carlos Pereira said he wanted to brush up his knowledge of German as soon as possible, after all, he had studied the language for three years. At the beginning of April, Pereira apologized for unfortunately not having the time, and so he gave information in remarkably good English for a little over an hour on the GC campus in Niederhasli. “I’ve been around the world a lot,” he says.
