Tijuana lawyers protested in the courts of La Mesa and in the State Attorney General’s Office to pressure the investigations so that the murder of Oscar Francisco Aguirre Rubio does not go unpunished.
“When the person arrives, asks for Oscar Aguirre and he answers “it’s me”, that’s when he shoots him because he didn’t know him. Oscar had been practicing as a criminal lawyer for 32 years and never had any problems and we are disconcerted by these facts, “explained Gabriel Celestino, one of the lawyers who received attention from the State Attorney General’s Office after the protest of the litigants demanding security after the murder of his colleague that occurred on Monday, August 8, inside his office in Tijuana.
The lawyers organized and protested outside the civil and criminal courts of the La Mesa delegation, next to the State penitentiary at 10 in the morning. At noon, they gathered at the offices of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) in the river area to meet with Miguel Ángel Gaxiola, homicide coordinator, and learn about the progress of the case by investigator Alejandro Peña.

Formally, the FGE does not rule out any line of investigation of the case, although for the lawyers the job they performed could be ruled out because they had not received any threat from any client. “Within the investigations, other eyewitnesses and the lawyer who testified are going to testify, and there are other lawyers who will be summoned to testify,” Celestino explained to ZETA.
What is now known is that two people participated in the homicide, the armed man who attacked the lawyer and the driver of a green Nissan Tsuru was waiting for the gunman on Los Charros avenue in the office marked with number 21 interior 1, at the La Mesa delegation in the city of Tijuana.
