Which car drivers are the most unbalanced – research

Scientists have identified car brands whose owners are more prone to psychopathy.

An unusual study of the psychology of drivers has been carried out in the UK. Experts have determined which car owners are more prone to psychopathy and inappropriate behavior. About it writes ScrapCarComparison website.

The study involved 2,000 British drivers. They named the brand of their car, as well as its color and type of license plate. Then they were tested for psychopathy.

The results were evaluated on a scale from 0 to 36 points. The higher the score, the more pronounced psychopathic tendencies:

• 0-18 points – normal people;
• 19-26 points – psychopathic inclinations are possible;
• 27 points or more – psychopaths.

The average score in the study is 6.6. However, it was determined that the driver of some cars had a significantly higher indicator. So, for BMW owners, it is 12.1 and for Audi – 11.7. The brands in the ranking are as follows:

1. BMW – 12.1 points

3. Fiat — 7,0
4. Mazda — 6,4
5. Honda — 6,3
6. Ford — 6,1
7. Mercedes-Benz — 5,9
8. Citroen — 5,8

An overestimated figure was also noted among electric car drivers – 16. For hybrids it is 9.8, for gasoline cars – 7, and for diesel cars – 5.2.

In addition, the most “psychopathic” car colors have been identified:

1. Gold – 12.7 points
2. Brown – 12.2
3. Green – 8.5
4. Black – 7.6
5. Blue – 7
6. White – 6
7. Silver – 5.5
8. Red – 4.9

It is also noted that individual “beautiful” numbers increase the risk of psychopathy – their owners have an index of 13.8.
